The Mountain Equipment Fang 35+ is a tough, versatile mountain pack made from durable materials and with features that are strip-able depending on your objectives. The 35 litre capacity is ideal for big days out in the mountains, cragging with plenty of spare layers and kit, and general big days out in the hills in all seasons.

Constructed from M420 ROBIC N6,6 Carbonate fabrics which are water resistant and very durable while still being lightweight. This outer sheds snow and light rain. The top lid is removable and can be adjusted to sit on top of an over stuffed pack using the dual stage draw cord opening.

The Fang features an hour glass shape which maximises load stability and packability. The main body of the pack is slightly tapered at its core and is more streamlined, this assists with mobility. Lightweight, supportive and comfortable high density EVA foam is used throughout; in the back panel, providing excellent torsional stability and flex control, in the shoulder straps, providing a contoured fit which will not mis-shape over time and in the hip-fins, to assist with distributing weight and to enhance load carrying comfort.

The pack uses a dual stage drawcord closure which keeps the weather out and allows for overstuffing on leaden down walk ins. Elasticated side packets can be used for water bottle or map storage when you want them close at hand, when empty they are low profile so will not snag when climbing. The dual ice axe head toggles are custom developed, lightweight and strong and are removable. The faired fins are designed so that they will fit a wide range of ice tools and integrated pockets protect the axes picks. All the straps on the pack can be removed if required and they are also available as spare parts should they become worn or damaged.
