The AMC MCQ Exam Preparation Program ensures that enrolled candidates have the knowledge and clinical reasoning skills necessary for exceptional performance and success in the AMC MCQ CAT exam. The course is developed and administered by Australian specialist doctors who provide candidates with constructive, high-yield, and pragmatic feedback tailored to each candidate’s strengths and weaknesses.

AMC candidates are provided with a method of studying for the exam. This method focuses on both the content that needs to be covered, but also (and more importantly) how best to study this content. The subject also includes a study syllabus covering all important aspects of AMC exam preparation and includes full-length trial exams in both the AMC CAT MCQ and the AMC Clinical Exam, each with worked solutions or ideal responses, that provide insight into the depth and breadth of knowledge required for success. IM101 teaches medical knowledge and skills across a wide range of topics and disciplines. The course examines disease processes, clinical examination, diagnosis, investigation, therapy and management. This AMC MCQ Exam preparation course is available online through METC Institute’s advanced Canvas LMS portal. In essence, it includes 21 comprehensive modules that form the foundations of Australian medical practice. These are to be completed over 42 weeks and overall approximately 1680-2100 hours of study.
The course is supported by unlimited access to course tutors, all of whom are specialist medical practitioners. Course tutors provide expert guidance and clarification, individualised to personal requirements. The course allows mastery of theory necessary for excellent performance at the AMC MCQ Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) Examination. Overall, this course provides AMC CAT candidates with a complete review of the material required to perform at the highest standard in the exam.
IM102 develops advanced critical and analytical skills and methods needed for exceptional performance at the AMC MCQ examination through the use of multiple trial exams, each with worked solutions, strategies and references for further study. IM102 is completed online through the METC Institute’s advanced Canvas LMS portal. It includes 10 full-length MCQ trial exams (total of 1500 MCQ’s). The course is supported by unlimited access to expert tutors, who are specialist medical practitioners that can provide guidance and clarification, individualised to personal requirements.
This course allows candidates to develop and refine medical knowledge through problem-based learning, to develop exam strategy, to realise and attenuate weaknesses and to develop a higher level of understanding of the concepts required to maximise AMC MCQ CAT scores in order to transition into Australian medical practice.
