The L-com PXCAP18-3005NC capacitive proximity sensor is utilized for contactless object detection, part counting or positioning in industrial automation and process control applications. Our cylindrical (shielded) capacitive IOT sensor is constructed of Ni-plated brass and ABS and features a tough industrial grade IP54 housing. This sensor is unaffected by the color or transparency of objects.

This M18 threaded proximity sensor requires a power supply voltage of 6 to 36 VDC. This capacitive sensor offers a quick response NPN NO+NC output via a 2 meter 4-wire cable for connection. Our proximity IOT sensor has industry standard form factors, making it suited for materials production, warehouse automation, robotics, automotive and food and beverage industries.

Our IOT sensor can operate at temperatures ranging from -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. This sensor comes with a LED indicator for switching status. The L-com PXCAP18-3005NC capacitive sensor also includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection.
